Miles Davis was a Jazz Genius and legendary jazz trumpeter, composer and bandleader. He revolutionized jazz music with his style and collaborations. 
He was born in Alton, IL in 1926.  To honor his contributions to the Jazz genre-there is a beautiful bronze statue in downtown Alton created by sculptor Preston Jackson.
 
This lovely paper is created from original photography 
by the wonderful Marty McKay of the Miles Davis statue on a snowy winter day.
